Federal Corruption

Conservatism and Liberalism, in the context of federal socialism, has no place in the federal government, but is proper at the state level. Libertarianism is consistent with founding principles of limited government. Libertarianism does not oppose state level conservatism or liberalism provided the state does not force personal adoption under mandates. Thus, conservatism, liberalism and libertarianism can coexist at the state level resolving social issues under states rights, as the founders intended.

The federal government should not engage in social issues as they are the exclusive domain of the states. We have reach a point of bloated federal socialistic spending where left-right vitriol results in pandering votes irrespective of constitutional limitations. It is natural that socialism at the federal level, prohibited by the constitution, breeds strife, vitriol, corruption and failure if not bankruptcy.

The Democratic Party and the Republican parties have effectively become enemies of the state, imposing an unlimited federal socialistic government upon the people contrary to founding principles. The corrupt federal judiciary is an enabler.

We Americans need to downsize the federal government and transfer socialistic federal functions to the states where conservatism, liberalism and libertarianism can engage in resolving social issues.

The founding fathers had it right, but the Republican Party and Democratic Party have ruined the country over the last 120 years to where the federal government is bankrupt and social strife permeates society. A libertarian is more suited for restoring the constitution and the republic, being neither left or right. The libertarian view of minimum government and maximum freedom is consistent with restoring the republic to its former glory as intended by the founding fathers. Only a Libertarian can unite the country under the Stars and Stripes and restore the grand republic and the constitution.

Larry Sharpe of New York said it best.

“What is a Libertarian?

A libertarian is someone who says you can be as conservative or liberal as you want to be just don’t force others to be like you.”

I endorse Larry Sharpe for governor of New York 2026.
