China Mfg implosion started under Biden and continues under Trump. Tariffs are not the reason for 5 years of US industrial growth. Trump falsely claims his tariffs is bringing mfg back to the US. I won’t call him a liar, he could actually believe what he says.

Trump claims he would have stopped the Russo-Ukrainian war. But never explained how. Trump claimed he would solve the war in one day. But, never explained how. Trump claimed he told Putin not to invade, and look at the results. Trump makes allot of bold statements that don’t square up. Trump implemented tariffs that are a sale tax on international commerce. The hope is that now negotiations can start to remove all tariffs. Bold move. I wish the president is successful in negotiations leading to a tariff free world.

Tariffs are constitutionally under the province of Congress and Trump has defied the Constitution under an emergency declaration.

If Trump is successful, we could have a global free trade zone. It’s unknown if he will be successful, but global free trade is highly desirable. Best of luck!!!

Trump on airplane discussed tariffs and referred to obligations supporting NATO. This indicates that his pretense to abandon NATO EU Ukraine was intentional manipulation to get EU to pay more. Trump tested Russia peace desires, found them wanting. Trump will now open the flood gate of Arms to Ukraine. He first got EU to pay more, as he should, tested Putin, as he should, and now should flood Ukraine with arms.

Trump claims china is paying tariffs

He claims US now get 2B$ a day.

Tariffs are a sales tax passed onto consumers. Trump is effectively increasing sales taxes on US consumers likely to increase inflation which is a transfer of wealth from the people to government normally caused by deficit spending, and is government theft of the value of people’s wages savings and pensions.

Hegseth has indicated the US is reducing defense spending 8% yet Trump adm has indicated increasing defense spending to 1T$, as the national debt interest hit 800B$ as the national debt soars past 36T$.

A china implosion as engineered by Trump may provoke China to invade Taiwan, as did Japan attacking the US after a FRD led scrap iron oil embargo.

Trump is taxing the US consumer for funding 1T$ DoD budget while imploding China likely to lead to global inflation, recession and war.

Trump is increasing tariffs which are effectively a consumer sales tax. Trump claims he wants to use tariffs to reduce taxes. Trump wants to increase taxes to reduce taxes. Wait, what?

Trump claims that under his tariffs, manufacturers are returning to the US. But the industrial footprint took off early in the Biden administration because China is imploding as globalization winds down.
