I called upon the Biden administration 17 months ago to grant Ukraine unlimited use of provided weapons. Today the permission was finally granted. The delay brought North Koreans into theater and costs the lives of many innocent Ukrainians as Russia continues its war crimes.

I sent my Russo-Ukrainian peace accord to President Trump and indications are he is moving toward it. Despite the bluster, Trump never had a viable one-day plan to end the war. He has a viable plan now.

The term escalation is incorrectly used. An increase in violence that doesn’t reach a new kind of violence is not an escalation of war violence.

A territorial expansion in opposition to territorial expansion is also not an escalation. It’s not that it’s new, but is it new in kind. All the “escalation” is on the Russian side.

Example, one guy pulls a gun on an unarmed man an opens up. Is it an escalation for the unarmed man to grab a gun and return fire? It’s an increase in total violence, but not an escalation of the kind of violence used.

Russia used drones to attack Ukrainian power plants. Ukraine response was drone attacks on Russian refineries. Was the Ukrainian response “an escalation”? The best argument is no, as Russia first started drone attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

One would be hard pressed to find a true Ukrainian escalation in the Russo-Ukrainian war.

Even naval drone use was a drone use attacking military assets that Russia first started. Russia invaded Ukraine and the escalation was Russian.

And they are short range tactical missiles. 400km not intercontinental 20,000km long range missiles.

They are short range battlefield tactical missiles ranging Russia airfields that launch glide bombs used in tactical strikes.

In October 2023 I came to conclusion Russia lost this war, that position has not changed. Question remains, does the west have the moral strength to insist Putin et al be hanged for war crimes.

War is a bad thing. The west did not start it. Ukraine has the exclusive right to decide its own destiny, not USA, not Russia. Russia is practicing 18th century colonial imperialism. It’s that simple. I have been to Russia 12 times to get a handle on their mind set, which is something less than enlightened.

In 1926, Moscow starved to death 6,000,000 Ukrainians. Moscow has not culturally evolved one little bit, and today is led by a petro mob boss having the financial oligarchy and political opposition under his thumb, as any respected czar would have.

Don’t be duplicitous and say you’re libertarian and want freedom, but only if it costs nothing. Don’t sentence Ukrainians to serfdom and slaughter because of aid objections. Don’t coward in the face of evil as all you will gain is more evil.

All Putin has left are empty threats of nuclear strikes, to scare cowards, used before each red line is breached. China, India and US have made it clear to Putin, don’t use tactical nuclear missiles.

Nearly all the men indigenous to the Donbas have been subscripted and slaughtered in meat assaults against Ukrainian regulars.

Nearly all lands Russia has liberated are leveled ruins.

Putin should swing for this.

His intentions have been made clear, resurrect the old Soviet empire.

Trump has an option here, contain imperial Russia from the Norwegian Sea to the Caucuses, and win the 75 year NATO Cold War, finally, and be the free world hero, in perpetuity, or throw Ukraine under the bus and be known as Chamberlain’s step child, and despised in Europe.

I believe Trump is seriously analyzing the situation and will come to the correct decision.
